“RE-201” – a new project from Echo Beach’s closest circle of producers, is a tribute to the legendary Roland Space Echo (The Roland RE-201 Space Echo set a new standard for tape echo in the 1970s. Reggae legend Bob Marley is one of the famous Space Echo users, as are the US hard rock band KISS and Nirvana’s frontman Kurt Cobain)
– and, much like this iconic device, it is a time machine that invites listeners to take a trip back to the mythical Eighties and forward to 2022 !

A group of illustrious musicians got together to celebrate their passion for dubbifying all manner of songs and topics. The new release is a tribute to the sound system culture !

AWA FALL was born 1996 to a Senegalese father and an Italian mother. She is very deep soul reggae diver with a nice flavour of roots and a variety of divers styles. She worked in the past with Alpha Steppa, Dub Tree, R.esistance and many others. ECHO Beach hired Sista Awa and Reggaesta (also from Italy) for producing Born To Be Dub. The masters of the STEPPER Beat; Zion Train, Trance Vision Steppers are glorifying the BORN TO BE DUB tune.
